PAMOL PLANTATIONS Plc was created in July, 1996 after liquidation of UNILEVER PAMOL that was incorporated as far back as 1956 when Unilever Ltd splitted from United Africa Company (UAC). The present day Pamol Estates are plantations left behind by the Germans. These plantations were bought over after the First World War by UAC in the early 1920’s from the custodians of Enemy property during an open market in London.
Pamol is a fully incorporated Para Public Company registered under the laws of Cameroon, operating in the agricultural sector and governed by the OHADA Treaty. It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. It is a Public liability company with its own memorandum of articles of association. The share capital of PAMOL stands at 5,954,440,000 FCFA.
