Pamol Plantations Plc utilizes two palm oil mills for the processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB).  In addition to running these two mills, the Technical Department maintains an electrical, artisan and mechanical workshops that ensure proper maintenance of the company’s installations and assets.  A soap factory was installed in 2003 at Lobe estate but not fully functional.  We plan to refurbish this factory so that it can attain its full production potential of 1.5 metric tons of soap per hour at a cost of about 350 million FCFA

This mill, which is 55 years old, was shut down in 1986 (for 13 years) and partly rehabilitated by self-financing in 1999. Its transformation capacity has been upgraded from 9 ton FFB/hr to 15 tons FFB/hour.

This mill was inaugurated in 1966 (about 57 years ago) and is still operational although at a high cost.  The transformation capacity of this mill has also been upgraded to 15 tons FFB/hour.
